Chalk as Closet Dehumidifier

26 Feb

ChalkCollageHere’s a cool trick  to keep clothes from moisture;  just hang a bundle of chalk in your closet and it acts as a natural dehumidifier.  This is such an easy and inexpensive way to absorb low levels of moisture. The chalk is a dessicant; which is just a way of saying a “drying agent”. Now that my closet is moisture free,  I think it’s only appropriate to celebrate by buying a new shirt to hang in my very dry closet…that makes sense right? 😉
